About Bible Institute
Pastor Mark says, “the Lord put “Bible Institute” into my heart in 1995 with the purpose of training up Godly leaders for our church. The instructions I received from the Lord included getting the students a solid foundation in the Word of God so they would be able to fulfill what the Lord asked them to do individually. It was to be 2 years and 24 classes on various subjects that would allow a person to grow to a well-rounded mature individual with the skills and tools to lead and help others. It was not intended to be a ministerial training school, but those attending, if called would recognize the call they had upon their life. I realized from the beginning that if someone was going to get a deeper teaching on any subject it would be most successful in this type of setting. I have received many testimonies that Bible Institute has changed their lives and I am planning to continue this part of our church and ministry until the Lord instructs us differently.
Our Purpose
Bible Institute’s primary purpose is to establish our students upon the firm foundataion in God’s Word, line upon line, Precept upon precept and also train up Godly leaders for our church and local area. We endevor to see graduates go on to the fullness of maturity and spiritual growth taking their places in the Body of Christ and effectively fulfilling their part in building the Kindom of God.
Is Bible Institute For You?
We asked several of this years graduates how they felt about Bible Institute and if they would recommend it to others. Many shared that if you want a change in your life, to grow closer to the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, if you want to experience all of God’s benefits everyday in your life, then they recommend Bible Institute.
Our graduates gain so much over the two years of attending Bible Institute. Some of the things mentioned are: a greater knowledge of the Word of God, greater understanding of how to apply that knowledge in everyday life, increased faith, how to be led by the Spirit, how to witness to others, and more determination to believe God’s word even when your way seems dark.
Many courses were taken over the two years but some of the ones that made a great impact on us were: “Faith”, “Redemption”, “Christ the Healer”, “Prayer”, and “Righteousness.”
