Restoration

Father God shows His love to us through restoration.  Of course, it is always best when we as sons and daughters realize that everything the Father has is ours.  And those who have gone away and return to Father’s house are able to receive a complete restoration.  The Father’s love is so amazing.  It doesn’t just say to people you can come back after you have lived in sin.  The love of the Father also says I will restore you.  If God is willing to restore someone who has walked away from Him, then I know He is willing to restore all things to all of us who are serving him.  Are you ready for complete restoration?

In Joel 2:25 the Word declares that God will restore to us the years that the locust has eaten.  In Isaiah 61:1-7, which is what Jesus said about Himself in Luke 4, we see restoration.  The old waste places, the former desolations, and the waste cities shall all be restored.  The prophet goes on to say that for our shame we will receive double restoration and everlasting joy!  God is into restoration.  He loves the acceptable year of the Lord which is called Jubilee.  He is a God who loves for his children to recover all.  That is what happened to King David in I Samuel 30.  When the enemy came and took everything, the Lord told David to go after them and recover all.  God has a plan for you to recover all; and not only has He given you and I the ability to recover all, but to help others recover what was been stolen from them.

Galatians 6:1-2 tells us as spiritual ones that the Lord want to use us to help others recover all.  When someone is overtaken in a fault, those of us who are spiritual are supposed to restore them and help them recover from their fall.  It is the will of God to restore people.  How do we restore them?  Pray for them.  James 5:16 tells us to pray for one another.  As a body of believers, if someone falls away, we are all supposed to go after them because they are the lost sheep.  If they fall, we should be there to pick them up.  Ecclesiastes 4:10 says we should be there if someone falls.  It also says it is not good when someone is alone if they fall.  We are to restore people.  You and I have been given the ministry of reconciliation.  It shows forth the love of God that is shed abroad in hearts by the Holy Ghost when we help those who have fallen.  When we pick those up who have slipped, and when we restore those who have gone away, it is not only the will of God to restore you, but it is also the will of God to use you to restore others.
