Delivered to Deliver

Psalm 34:17 (NKJV) The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles.

God has delivered us from everything the devil has sent our way, and now the Father wants to use us to bring deliverance to those we encounter. To help someone else, you must first realize your deliverance and begin to walk in it. The Bible tells us in Psalm 91:3 that He shall surely deliver us from the snare of the fowler, or He will deliver us from the trap of the enemy. King David tells us that he sought the Lord, and he was delivered out of all his fears (Psalm 34:4). In Verse 17 of that same Psalm, it says, "The righteous cry, and the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their trouble." Verse 19 says, "Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivers him out of them all." In 2 Timothy 4:18, the Word tells us that the Lord shall deliver us from every evil work. Thank God we are delivered from every trap, every trouble. We are delivered from them all, and we are delivered from every evil work.

Since you know that, now you can help others. God has always used people to deliver other people. God uses us as His mouthpiece and His hands and feet to help humanity. God wants and needs to use you. You don't have to be perfect. I can't seem to find a perfect person in the Word of God, except Jesus. God uses imperfect people who are saved and anointed by a perfect God. He used Moses, who was a murderer and a runner, to deliver the children of Israel. Moses stepped out in the natural to try and rescue the Israelites, but they didn't accept him; and so, he ran away to the backside of the desert for 40 years. God used David to deliver. Although he was a man after God's own heart, David made many mistakes. He took one of his mighty men's wives and had an affair with her, got her pregnant and then had her husband killed after he was unable to cover up the sin. And yet, after repentance, God was still able to use David anyway...

God also uses unlikely people. He used a young girl named Esther, who risked her life before the King, to save her family and the people of God. He used four leprous men who finally said, "Why sit here until we die?" They decided to make an effort instead of doing nothing; and when they moved, God moved with them. What about Gideon? This man had such low self-esteem that it was amazing he could get out of bed in the morning. Yet, God worked with him and delivered a nation. My point is, you and I are not perfect; but God, in His perfection, can use us as long as our hearts are right. Decide today that God can use you to help other people. You were delivered to be a deliverer!
