NO FAILURE IN GOD
Hebrews 13:5 (AMPC) Let your character or moral disposition be free from love of money [including greed, avarice, lust, and craving for earthly possessions] and be satisfied with your present [circumstances and with what you have]; for He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!].
There is no failure in God. God cannot lie, and He cannot fail; and He will not fail you. God told Joshua something I think He would like to tell you. Joshua 1:5 says, “There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee." This same phrase is repeated in the book of Hebrews. We have to understand that God cannot fail, and He will not fail us. Hebrews 13:5-6 (AMPC) says, "... for He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!]. So, we take comfort and are encouraged and confidently and boldly say, The Lord is my Helper; I will not be seized with alarm [I will not fear or dread or be terrified]. What can man do to me?" That is a promise from Almighty God. He said He would never fail you and me, and He will not let us down.
I tell people, “If you feel like God has let you down, your feeler is off. It is impossible for God to fail; it is impossible for God to lie, and He is not going to start with you.” You and I have to admit we have failed and have missed it at times, but God didn't fail us or cause us to fail in any way. So, what must we do to get failure and the desire to give up out of our lives? First, we have to really see that God can't and won't fail us, that God is one with His Word; His Word will never return void but will accomplish what it is sent to do (Isaiah 55:11). Next, we have to believe His Word by putting it in our hearts and in our mouths. Finally, we have to hold fast to God and our confession, realizing that God Himself is holding on to us. God won't relax His grip on you, so don't you relax your grip on God; don't let go! Sometimes, we all feel like we have gone over a cliff and are hanging on with one hand. As a child of God, God has always "got you." He always has you by the hand, and He will not drop you. He will hold on to you and pull you up every time. Trust Him!
