One of my mentors said that the Lord asked him, “Do you want to know how you can increase your capacity to receive from Me?” and that he had answered very quickly and said, “Yes Lord, I do.”

It is not where you start, but where you finish that is important. When I was thinking about David's mighty men, I looked back on how they came about.

Before someone fails outwardly, they fail on the inside first.  The same is true of success. 

The woman with the issue of blood did hear something because she had faith to do something from what she had heard and began to say something.

The Lord told Levi to follow Him. So, Levi had a choice to follow or start giving all the excuses of why he couldn’t do it right then like, “I really want to obey you Lord, but now is not a good time for me. You know I love you Lord, but I just can’t do it right now.”

There are four seasons of weather in most places, spring, summer, fall, and winter; and in most places, you know what time of year it is by the weather.

I think one of the most rewarding things you and I can do is help people. I know that you and I have things going on, issues, and problems in our own lives; but I have found that the principle of sowing and reaping that is taught in the Word of God also works for things, issues, and problems.

We are called to do the works of Jesus on the Earth.  We are His body, and He is counting on us to do what He has called us to do. 

If there has ever been a time when the harvest is great, it is now. The projection for the world population is estimated to be over 8 billion in 2025, and there is no real way to know exactly how many of those are truly born again.

If you want to change your life forever, there is one area that you must get a grip on, and that is offense.  It is a key to so many areas of your life.

God does so many things for us as a Father. What a privilege to call Him Father. Like a good Father does, He wants to take care of our every need.

Father God shows His love to us by restoration.  Of course, it is always best when we, as sons and daughters, realize that everything the Father has is ours but also, that those who have gone away and return to Father’s house are able to receive complete restoration too. 

Unity is so important in the body of Christ, at church, in your home, in your workplace, and in any place where there is a group of people. In the Word of God, unity is an essential element for the Glory of God to be in manifestation.

Jesus is your Shepherd. He wants to lead you somewhere. He wants to lead you to green pastures and still waters.

We have looked at three types of soil.  Jesus named them wayside, stony, and thorny.  The last kind of soil is the good soil that produces the Word of God.

We are looking at the soil and what is contained in each person’s “kardia” (heart).  The soil of a person’s heart is really the most important thing.

We saw last time that the “Wayside” soil is a soil where people hear the Word of God, but the devil comes immediately and steals the Word.

The condition of your heart or kardia is very important.  If your heart is hard, nothing can grow there.

We must forgive people.  We don’t just forgive those we want to forgive or those who are worthy of forgiveness, but we forgive any and all.

Before this, Jesus was telling us how to move mountains and get what we pray and say. Today’s verse starts with “And.” What does that mean?
